Baby Letterpress

Wednesday, March 28th, 2007

Beginning April 01, I’ll be showcasing letterpress eye candy in the theme of baby. Tune in for baby announcements, shower invites, and other goodness that’s all about baby.

I already have several submissions ready to go but am still looking for more. If you’ve got some letterpressed baby stuff, give me a shout and I’ll include you in the showcase.

Pick o’ The Day: Willow Wood

Thursday, March 8th, 2007

I’ve predicted embossed designs will be big for 2007/2008 weddings. I think a lot of long-time stationers remember the mass-produced cookie-cutter embossed invitations in the 1990s and cringe. Don’t fret! The re-emergence of embossing brings some clever, fresh designs that are beautiful and modern.

To kick off my onging feature of embossing, I bring you the lovely Antoinette design from Willow Wood. I chose it because it’s ornate yet delicate. Paired with a lush cardstock and bright, cheerful ink this embossed-border design is fresh and youthful.
