{Thank You} Pick of the Day: Hammerpress

I love - and I do mean LOVE - cards of unusual size. In my letterpress travels I don’t often see #10 envelope sized cards and it’s such a pity.
The fine folks at Hammerpress have a collection of flat notes (4″ x 9″) that, much to my glee, includes an awesome thank you card.

{Thank You} PotD: typeHigh

Today’s Thank You pick of the day comes from typeHigh’s etsy shop. I’m really in love with ornate, overlapping designs and I hope to see more of them for Fall 2007 and through 2008.

What caught my eye with this beauty (besides the lovely design) is that bright pop of purple. Unexpected and utterly wonderful!

{Thank You} POTD: Night Owl Paper Goods

I think I’ve mentioned my weakness for blue and orange before. It’s such a fun and lively combination!

To find an adorable thank you with this color combo simply thrilled me. (Seriously, I get excited over this stuff.)

Today’s pick is from the great talents at Night Owl Paper Goods:

Letterpress in NYC

If you’re in NYC and looking for letterpress classes or to connect with other printers, do check out The Center for Book Arts on West 27th.

I Love Letterpress reader, Sarah, wrote in:

NY-area designers who are
interested in learning more
about letterpress can take a
class at the center, learn to
print, rent studio space,
meet other lp printers, and
sell their goods every december
at our annual holiday sale.

{Thank You} POTD: Zeichen Press

Today’s little gem of a thank you card comes from Fran at Zeichen Press. I think it’s really, really funny and am dying to give it to one of my vegan friends. (You know who you are.)

{Thank You} POTD: Albertine Press

Today’s pick comes from the Suitables line by Shelley at Albertine Press.
I love this one because it’s fun and masculine which is pretty hard to find in a thank you note. Guys write thank yous, too! Perfect for all those couples who had a 7/7/7 wedding this year, isn’t it?

ILL on Indie Public

For those of you who are members of Indie Public, I’ve set up an I Love Letterpress group at: http://www.indiepublic.com/group/letterpress.

If you’re unfamiliar with Indie Public, it’s a great community of indie artists, designers, retailers, bloggers, and those that support them. http://www.indiepublic.com. It’s free to join and seems to be a really great resource for finding cool people and neat products.
