I Love Letterpress was started in September 2006 as a way to indulge my letterpress fetish.
The site is really all about showcasing letterpress stationers with a heavy emphasis on weddings because that’s where my interests are focused… and I’m not alone. Traffic to the site has doubled every other month (sometimes more) and lots of links are coming in from wedding-related sites.
I first became aware of letterpress some years ago when Martha Stewart Weddings featured Julie Holcomb’s studio in one of their issues. It was the first time I had seen letterpress used in wedding stationery in a way that was colorful and contemporary. I was hooked.
In recent years, I would spend hours surfing the web looking for letterpress studios and would then share my utterly finds with my friends and colleagues in the wedding industry. I had been keeping a list of wedding stationers but decided to pull the letterpress studios into their own resource and that has evolved into this site.
