Albertine Press - Valentine’s Event

This just came in from Albertine Press:

Shelley Barandes of Albertine Press has teamed up with the folks at Taza Chocolate and La Tene Chocolatier for a truly delicious open studio & Valentine’s Day celebration!

Please see details below and the attached letterpressed flyer for the event. It’s going to be a great chance for people to get a behind-the-scenes look at how cards are printed and chocolate is made from “beans to bars.” It’s also the first time Albertine Press has opened its doors to visitors since moving in to the new shop in December. There will be hot chocolate, tasting truffles, and a limited edition valentine that you can print yourself! And of course, a chance to pick up paper & chocolate for your valentine.

Mark Your Calendars: Book Arts Fest, Nov. 18, Minnnesota

The Minnesota Center for Book Arts is having its 5th Annual Book Arts Festival on Saturday, November 18th 10 am - 5 pm and Sunday, November 19th 12 noon to 5 pm.

More than 40 artists will be selling handmade books, journal, cards, prints, paper and gifts.
