If you teach letterpress or know of local LP classes, please feel free to send the info my way. I’ll include class info in a special resources page on ILL since there seems to be a growing interest and I don’t know what’s happening beyond the SF Bay Area.
Thanks!
Another ILL reader, Susana, is looking for letterpress classes in or around Raleigh, NC this spring. Do you have any local resources for her?
Thanks, everyone!
Hey Letterpress Peeps,
ILL reader, Lauren, is looking for letterpress classes in or near Orange County (CA) besides Otis. She can go as far as LA County. Do you have any recommendations for her?
You’re welcome to post a comment below or email me via the submission/contact form.
Alan sent over a link to this great letterpress movie on YouTube. Direct URL: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yE0OoWX6TQs
The April 2007 issue of Country Living magazine has a sweet article about letterpress called “Letterpress Makes A Comeback”. (pp. 87-90) Featured is Brady Vest of Hammerpress. Other familiar names that got mention: Julie and Kevin from Yee-Haw Industries, Shelley from Albertine, and Melissa and Brad from Elum.
Congrats, guys!

Hi Everyone!
Today’s New York Times has a short article on letterpress Valentine’s cards.

Ellen Knudson from Crooked Letter Press was the featured interviewee on the CraftSanity podcast for December 20th. It’s a great listen!
Sorry for the lack of updates. The holidays are upon me and looming deadlines for other projects are keeping me away.
The New York Times ran a nice article on letterpress on December 10. Click here to give a look (registration required).
From the fabulous Cake + Pie blog (really, you must visit) I discovered Adventures in Letterpress blog. For anyone considering getting into letterpress as a business — or for those just interested in letterpress or small business — this is a fascinating read. It’s a brand new blog with no many posts yet. I’m really looking forward to watching her blog and business grow.
